Invites you to a talk by Prof. Shobha Bagai, Cluster Innovation Centre, University of Delhi, Delhi- 110007, India.
On Reinventing the Wheel - The Calculus Way
Abstract: In a regular calculus class dealing with limits, a circle may be defined as polygon with sides tending to infinity. So going backwards, is it possible to have polygonal wheels for some special shape of the road? Ans can we see what the road must be for a circular wheel? In this talk we shall endeavour to answer these questions with our basic knowledge of Calculus.
