Call for Papers

The School of Heritage Research and Management (SHRM) at the Dr B R Ambedkar University Delhi, is organizing on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, a full-Day Seminar on the theme Heritage Changes: Creating A Resilient Agenda, as one of the activities for under the aegis of Heritage Week
celebrations 2023.


The theme ‘Heritage Changes’ is a call to initiate a dialogue, with a strategic focus on emerging interdisciplinary areas of heritage research and practice. These areas would pertain to the understanding and learning on/from, intangible heritage, community practices, documentary knowledge, and, their interconnectedness with sustainability, climate-change, heritage interface with tourism, and, cultural heritage as a vehicle for transformative and resilient changes. The One-Day Seminar, by opening this dialogue, hopes to address and bring about constructive interdisciplinary knowledge-sharing, in the UN Decade of Action, of which the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) are an essential and integral constituent.

Selected abstracts will be notified for presentation by Thursday, November 23. Successful paper
presenters will receive a certificate.
No TA/DA will be paid to outstation candidates
