About the speaker: Shobna Sonpar is a clinical psychologist and psychotherapist based in New DelhiI. In addition to her clinical practice, she has helped set up the counseling service at IIT Delhi and the training programme in clinical psychology at Tribhuvan University, Nepal. Her research interests are gender, social justice and violence. She has been involved with projects in Jammu and Kashmir that build capacity for psychosocial support and peace building. She has also undertaken research on militancy in Jammu and Kashmir and on the transformative impact of social programming.
