The University functions as a multi-campus unitary University with an added focus on vocational/community college-based programmes. While it now operates from the Kashmere Gate Campus, Karampura Campus and Lodhi Road Campus, it has been allotted two plots at Rohini and Dheerpur for constructing new campuses.
Kashmere Gate Campus
The University main campus is housed in a 400 year old heritage buildings complex, located at the Lothian Road, Kashmere Gate, Delhi-110006, where we have a 3-acre sprawling green campus in the heart old Delhi. Adjoining our campus is the campus of the newly constituted Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW). AUD campus has good infrastructure in terms of well-stocked libraries, reading rooms, online journals and computer labs. Student hostel facility are available only for girl students. Classrooms are equipped with audio-visual equipment and wi-fi connectivity is available throughout the campus.
The Kashmere Gate Campus is located at Lothian Road and is in close proximity to the Kashmere Gate Metro station. This campus is shared with the Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women.

Karampura Campus
The Karampura Campus — 6.5 acres of land and buildings — is located on Shivaji Marg, Karampura. The campus is located in close proximity to Moti Nagar Metro Station (Blue Line), Inderlok Metro Station (Red Line) and Karampura Bus Terminal. A girl’s hostel for 32 students would also be functional from the next academic session. An auditorium is likely to be functional soon.
Ambedkar University Delhi Karampura campus is located in a 55 year old campus on Shivaji Marg, Karampura, New Delhi 110015. The buildings on this campus earlier housed the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College of Delhi University, prior to which it housed a Higher Secondary School, and before that was the location of the newly founded Shivaji College, Delhi University.
The campus begins with 200 undergraduate students in four courses in the 2016-17 academic year.The curent student strength at KP Campus is about 800+ in the academic session 2018-19 and student strength is estimated to progressively increase reaching 2000 by 2019. The campus will also house two new schools, the School of Vocational Studies and School of Law and Governance in the coming years. School of Global Affairs (SGA) is also located in this campus since 2018-19 academic session, apart from SVS & SLGC in totality. Some of the UG programme of SUS is also operated from the K.P Campus at present.
The Karampura campus has all the facilities the Kashmere Gate campus have – technology enabled AC classrooms, library, computer labs, studenst activity areas, playgrounds and cafeteria. Centre for Development Practice is also located in this campus. A new Library is also operating from this campus as well. A training restaurant and training kitchen is also being set-up july 2019 for labwork of Tourism & Hospitality programme of SVS.

Lodhi Road Campus
The Lodhi Road campus of Ambedkar University Delhi with an area of 1.97 acre is located at BK Dutt Colony, Aliganj. It earlier housed a school for about five decades. The campus was handed over to the University by the GNCTD in April 2017 with a view to serve the teacher education development needs of the city. The ground floor of this campus was renovated and the upper floors are currently under renovation.
At present, the campus houses School of Education Studies (SES) which offers MA Education, MA Education (Early Childhood Care and Education) and Continuous Professional Development programme. SES will offer PhD programme in Education from the academic year 2019-20. The School of Education Studies also proposes to launch different pre-service teacher education and other teacher education programmes in education in the near future. This campus will also house Centre for Early Childhood Education and Development (CECED) and other centres to work towards improvement of school education in Delhi.
Like the other University campuses, this campus has technology enabled AC classrooms, library, computer labs, student activity areas, playground and cafeteria.

Upcoming Campuses
Two plots of land have been allotted by the Department of Higher Education, Government of NCT of Delhi, for setting up additional campuses of the University— one in Rohini, Sector 3 (7.02 hectares) and the other in Dheerpur, Phase 1 (20 hectares).
