Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University Delhi will be commencing the development and construction of its two new campuses at Dheerpur and Rohini. Environmentally sustainable and meeting GRIHA 5 standards, both State of Art campuses will ensure best standards in energy, water and waste management. The master plans and campus design of the campuses are designed to ensure most conducive environment to facilitate collective engagement, spaces for self-growth, knowledge production and dissemination, community living and inclusive culture. The campuses are also seen to be permeable and connected with neighborhood communities and beyond to engage with and contribute to the city of Delhi.

Dheerpur Campus
Dheerpur campus located near Gandhi Vihar on the outer ring road is spread over 50 Acres adjoined by the Dheerpur Wetlands spread over 65 Acres being developed and maintained by the Centre For Urban Environment and Sustainability (CUES) of University in partnership with DDA. With a built up area of 1,76,000 Sq. Meters and 40500 Sq Meters of basement, the campus is envisaged to house 4500 full time students and about 2000 students in part time/short term programmes in its first phase. In addition, it will have hostel facilities for 750 students as well as 256 units of faculty and staff housing. Other facilities will include auditorium, convention centre, exhibition centre, seminar and conference facilities, library, cafeterias, students centre, indoors and outdoors sports facilities, guesthouse, health centre, display and performance areas, convenience/utility centre and crèche.
The Dheerpur campus will house seven schools in Phase 1 namely, Schools of Undergraduate Studies, Liberal Studies, Development Studies, Human Ecology, Design, Culture & Creative Expressions and Vocational Studies. In addition, it will also have Centres for Research Methods, Community Knowledge, Incubation & Innovation, Future Studies and South Asia Studies.
Rohini Campus
The Rohini Campus is located at sector 3 and spread over 18 Acres with a capacity of 3500 fulltime students with hostel facilities for 900 students. It will also have staff and faculty housing with 132 units. The campus will have auditorium, convention centre, seminar and conference facilities, library, cafeterias, students centre, indoors and outdoors sports facilities, guesthouse, health centre, display and performance areas, convenience/utility centre and crèche.
The campus will house seven schools namely, Schools of Undergraduate Studies, Liberal Studies, Development Studies, Law, Governance & Citizenship, Business, Public Policy & Social Entrepreneurship,, Education Studies, Human Studies and Culture & Creative Expressions. In addition, it will also have Centres for Research Methods, Community Knowledge, Future Studies and South Asian Studies. It will also have Centres for Psycho Clinical Research, Early Childhood Education & Development, Development Practice, Publishing, Women Studies and University Centre for Innovation & Incubation of Entrepreneurship.
The Foundation Stones for both campuses are to be laid by Hon’ble CM of Delhi Shri Arvind Kejriwal and Hon’ble Dy. CM of Delhi Shri Manish Sisodia with Mr. Sandeep Kumar IAS, Secretary Higher Education NCT of Delhi as distinguished Guest. Prof. Anu Singh Lather, Vice Chancellor of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University Delhi presided over the function.
