Dr. Sunita Singh is an Associate Professor at the School of Education Studies (SES), Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD). She completed her Ph.D. from the Department of Curriculum and Instruction (Language and Literacy), University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA. Prior to joining AUD, she worked as an Associate Professor at Le Moyne College, Syracuse, New York. She has also worked at the Centre for Early Childhood Education and Development (CECED), AUD where she mentored a large number of projects funded by national and international agencies related to research and evaluation, capacity building and advocacy in areas related to early childhood care and education and language and literacy. In her research, she has worked extensively in schools, with teachers, families and in communities. Sunita has published chapters in books and articles in international journals. She has been on the editorial board and a panel reviewer for international journals. At SES, she teaches courses in language and literacy and early childhood curriculum.
