Dr Vikram Singh Thakur has Ph.D. degree from Centre of Comparative Literature, University of Hyderabad. His research interests include postcolonial studies, theatre and performance studies, literary and cultural theory and Shakespeare reception across the globe.

SCHOLARSHIPS/FELLOWSHIPS AWARDED:

• Awarded UGC –Junior Research Fellowship (2006) and UGC –SeniorResearch Fellowship (2009) by the University Grants Commission, New Delhi, India.
• Awarded a three-month international scholarship for a short-term research project at Utrecht University, The Netherlands by Utrecht University (2009).
• Nominated for the British Commonwealth Split-site Fellowship, U.K. by University Grants Commission, India (2009).
• Offered Erasmus Mundus (EM) Category A scholarship for MA in International Performance Research in (2011)
