Internships are a very important component for the students and a valuable tool for Industry – Institute interaction. We are working towards arranging internships for students to undergo practical training for specific period (4-8 weeks) during winter and summer vacations in Multinational / Private/ NGO’S and Academic Institutes. Our belief is internships are the milestone of the student’s academic career and when teamed with the information gathered in the classroom, this experience is a substantial way to prepare them for their future employment.
Industrial/ Professional Tour
In order to understand the working of various Organizations and Institutions we in the near future plan to visit with our students to different Industries/ Organizations to get right exposure and opportunity for training and placement.
Guidance for Higher Studies
We are also working towards offering detailed career guidance at the Career Cell to facilitate their admissions in Prestigious Institutes to pursue higher studies in specialized areas. The advice/ guidance will be based on up-to-date placement statistics and an envisioned view of future educational and industrial trends. We have been organizing speaker sessions and panel discussions in the past and plan to organize more of these to invite experts to offer career guidance and organize workshops for providing training in this respect.
Campus Placement
We are working towards to promotion of campus recruitment for University students aspiring for appropriate placement in Private/Public Sector Undertakings, Industries and Research/ Academic Institutes by the Career Cell. For placement, a large number of prospective employers are contacted by the Career Cell and these organizations and institutions are invited to visit University for campus recruitment. The Career Cell at University gives a great deal of emphasis on close and continuous interaction with executives of various organizations/institutions, for strengthening the Industry – Institute interaction.
Organization of workshops/ seminars
The Career Cell at University plays a very important and key role in counseling and guiding the students of the university for their successful Career Placement, which is a crucial interface between the stages of completion of academic program of the students and their entry into avenues of suitable employment.
