He is an Ex-NCC cadet, 2 Bengal Air Sqn. NCC, Kolkata. He has qualified NCC certificate ‘B’ and ‘C ‘examinations. He has been a best cadet during his undergraduate studies, year 2005. He has completed Basic Mountaineering Course (BMC) with an ‘A’ grade at Nehru Institute of Mountaineering (NIM), Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand. He also attended the attachment camp for best cadets at Air Force Academy, Dundigal, Hyderabad (2005), representing NCC Directorate, West Bengal and Sikkim.
